GeoGebra

GeoGebra Workshops

During the 2009-10 academic year, I will be on sabbatical, conducting workshops for teachers (all grade levels), showing how you can use GeoGebra to design mathematical learning objects for your classrooms, and incorporate GeoGebra into your instruction. If you're close enough to Worthington, Minnesota, these are free. If you're farther away, you'll need to provide for my transportation. (Ask me, if you're wondering.)

About me:

Dave Matthews is a mathematics instructor at Minnesota West Community and Technical College in Worthington, MN. He has over 20 years of teaching experience in grades 9 – 16, in locations from the Navajo Nation in Arizona, to Liberia in West Africa. He is a registered GeoGebra Workshop Leader, and has given talks and workshops on GeoGebra at many different conferences throughout the United States, including the 2008 Merlot International Conference on Learning Objects in Higher Education. In July of 2009, he will participate in the First International GeoGebra Conference in Hagenberg, Austria. He will be on sabbatical for the entire 2009-10 school year, so please contact him, or he’ll be sort of bored, and have a difficult time writing up his sabbatical report.
